Within my work there are contiguous themes that inform and offer an opportunity for expanded dialogue in which the viewer may participate. Within jewelry, I aim to explore the relationship between materials, both fine and found, and invite the wearer to serve as platform and conveyer of sculptural form. Within my sculpture, I have striven to repeat and conflate thematic idioms that explore psychosocial constructs, inviting the audience to react, reflect, and respond to ingrained cultural belief systems. |
