Presentazione comunicato stampa.
professione in modo integerrimo.
gallerista.

As a member of the Drawing on Life Art Group I would like to inform everyone of our upcoming exhibition at the Community Arts Council Gallery, Semiahmoo Arts, located in Windsor Square at 90-1959 152nd Street Surrey, B.C. Phone: 604-536-8333.
Opening Reception: January 6, 2011, 7-9 pm. Show Runs: January 7 – 28, 2011.
The Drawing on Life art group came into existence over twenty years ago. It is a varied group of capable full and part time artists who have been gathering once a week to portray the beauty and grandeur of the human figure. Our goal is to interpret and represent it in various forms of dress through different mediums and personal styles. A few of the artists have left over time but the three year waiting period to join us speaks to the seriousness and dedication of each individual to their art.

Drawing is as old, and possibly predates language as a form of communication. It is the basis for all of the fine arts. Life drawing, and the confidence that comes from the ability to portray the human figure well, in all its complexity, invigorates and empowers an artist to attempt ever greater and greater achievements. Our gatherings are really a labor of love, and a celebration of the beauty and splendor of the human form.
